Xtrasorb® HCS
Xtrasorb® HCS is a Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP)–based hybrid of a hydrogel and a hydrocolloid dressing. The addition of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (a key ingredient in traditional hydrocolloids and the base component in hydrofiber) and the SAP gel formulation to a water/glycerin hydrogel base helps this unique dressing offer hydration for dry to moderately exuding wounds, while delivering superior absorption capabilities for moderately exuding wounds.
